SOME RECOMMENDATIONS

Install smoke alarms on every floor of your home and in every bedroom. Test them each month and replace the batteries at least once a year. 

Develop a fire evacuation plan for your family or your workplace. Practice it regularly to ensure that everyone knows the exits. 

 Keep candles away from flammable materials and never leave them unattended. 

 Never leave the kitchen unattended and keep flammable objects away from the stove. 

Place space heaters at least one meter away from flammable objects and turn them off when you leave the room. 

Avoid overloading electrical outlets and check for damaged cables or outlets. Matches and Lighters: Store matches and lighters out of reach of children. 

Learn how to use a fire extinguisher and keep one in your home. Ensure it is suitable for the type of fire you might encounter. 

Keep barbecues at a safe distance from structures and never leave them unattended while in use.
